Dickinson, Mackaman, Tyler & Hagen P.C. is pleased to announce our 2023 Summer Associate, Anthony Siegrist.
Anthony is currently attending Creighton University School of Law where he will graduate in May of 2024. His legal education is complemented by a well-rounded background in English (Writing) from Dordt University, where he completed his undergraduate degree.
Anthony grew up in Wesley, Iowa where is upbringing has shaped his commitment to the legal profession. Growing up as the youngest of seven, he was immersed in an environment where law was a constant presence. His father and older brother are both attorneys, which influenced Anthony’s career path.
Motivated by his personal connections, Anthony was drawn to join Dickinson Law. “My dad knows Dickinson Law fairly well and has worked with the firm a couple times over the years,” he said. “Given his respect for the firm, I knew it would be a great fit. I’m excited to be here.”
With previous experience at Pierce McCoy, PLLC, Anthony has honed his skills in employment law. His work with the firm, based in Norfolk, VA, has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of intricacies of the legal field and a solid foundation in employment law matters.
While Anthony is eager to explore various areas of the law, he looks forward to delving into employment law once again. However, he also has a keen interest in expanding his expertise to transactional work, demonstrating his dedication to continuous growth and professional development.
Beyond his legal acumen, Anthony possesses a genuine affinity for the city of Des Moines. He has spent considerable time there with his family and has an appreciation for the city’s welcoming atmosphere. Whether exploring local coffee shops or trying out new restaurants, Anthony finds comfort and joy in the vibrant Des Moines community.
Anthony is happily married to his wife, Taylor. They tied the knot just before his law school journey and have enjoyed almost two years together.
