Leading media outlet Jerusalem Post recently published an article featuring GT Fort Lauderdale and Israel Practice member Brian Sherr. The article tells the story of the historic Tiferet Israel synagogue, taking readers through a historic journey which entails Sherr’s key role in the rebuilding and future reopening of the synagogue, located in the Old City of Jerusalem.

As said in the article, “Tiferet Israel was the symbol of Jewish community life in Jerusalem….. At nearly 80 feet high, it towered over all the other buildings in the area and strengthened the Jewish presence in the holy city. You can see the Western Wall, the Temple Mount and the entire Old City from the top.”

Read the full article to learn more about the unique history of Tiferet Israel and future plans to reopen it as both a spiritual and social center.
