M&A Advisor has announced that Attorney Jeffrey Goetz and Dickinson Bradshaw will be honored at its 18th annual Distressed Investing and Turnaround Awards on March 18-19th in Palm Beach, Florida. Goetz is among a group of attorneys and health care advisors being honored for their work in the category of Restructuring of the Year ($10MM to $50MM).
Goetz will receive the award for his work in the restructuring and sale of QHC Nursing Homes & Assisted Living Centers, which involved eight nursing homes and two assisted living facilities. The Iowa company filed for bankruptcy in late 2021.
Goetz is board-certified in both Business and Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification, and his practice is devoted primarily to the representation of debtors, creditors, committees and trustees in bankruptcy and reorganization cases.
Other legal and health care advisory firms who worked on the sale and will be honored include Iowa law firms Dentons Davis Brown, Nyemaster Goode, and Dorsey & Whitney; national law firms Troutman Pepper and Haynes and Boone; and global health advisory firm Gibbins Advisors, LLC.
The team’s work was among hundreds of nominations submitted for the prestigious awards and are judged by an independent panel of industry experts.
