Greenberg Traurig Shareholder, Jena M. Valdetero, U.S. Co-chair of the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Group, will present the Strafford webinar, “SEC Cybersecurity Enforcement Authority After SolarWinds Ruling: Mitigating Exposure to Securities Fraud Liability,” on Oct. 9. This webinar will discuss the important cybersecurity points. Including the Southern District of New York’s ruling in SEC v. SolarWinds et al. wherein the court dismissed the SEC’s novel cybersecurity claim against defendant SolarWinds and its chief information security officer. The panel will explore the implications this case may have on the SEC’s approach to using securities laws to pursue cyber incident litigation against public companies and provide key considerations for public companies going forward.

We have a number of complimentary passes available on a first come, first served basis for clients who would like to attend. Please email GT Data Privacy & Cybersecurity if you would like to attend this webinar with one of our complimentary passes.
