Musk says Federal workers must explain jobs or resign. While I don’t make a lot of money, I don’t have to justify my job or my viability to a boss. Sure, if I don’t do a good job, clients won’t hire me; but, after 52 years, there seems to always be another client around the corner. Perhaps some of the Federal employees being laid off will find better jobs elsewhere. It must be stressful, however, to have to justify your existence to DOGE; especially if you have been calling it in from home. It’s a dirty job to find fraud, waste and excess, and you don’t win a lot of friends doing it. But, always remember the thing about dirty jobs. Someone has to do it.
