Fire Code Compliance For Condos

As Ontario’s fire safety regulations evolve, condo corporations must remain vigilant in maintaining compliance with the Ontario Fire Code under the Fire Protection and Prevent Act.

Non-compliance can result in fines, liability, and most importantly, endanger lives. Recently, we’ve seen a push in enforcement with charges being laid against both condo corporations, management companies, and the on-site managers themselves.

To support condo managers and directors, CAI Canada is hosting a free webinar, “The Phases of Fire Code Compliance” on June 19, 2025.

This session will guide condo boards and managers through the lifecycle of compliance – from planning and inspection, to responding to notices of violation, enforcement, and remediation.
