CFTC ends large trader reporting for commodity swaps

The CFTC has eliminated Part 20 large trader reporting requirements for physical commodity swaps, ending daily and event-based reporting obligations for clearing organizations, clearing members, and swap dealers. The change reflects the maturity of the CFTC’s swap data reporting framework, while recordkeeping and special-call requirements remain in place.
