Dover Cocaine Distribution AttorneysA Dover New Jersey man has been sentenced to almost a decade in NJ State Prison for selling cocaine in Morris County, NJ.

The suspect is a 41-year-old resident of Dover, NJ. He was placed under arrest in July 2016 following an investigation by Dover detectives.

According to Morris County authorities, the suspect distributed narcotics in the Dover NJ area. A raid of the suspect’s Dover home by Dover NJ detectives reportedly led to the discovery of a large amount of cocaine, in addition to drug paraphernalia.

The suspect was subsequently charged with first degree distribution of cocaine. If the case had gone to trial in Morris County Superior Court in Morristown, the suspect could have faced 20 years in NJ State Prison. Instead, the suspect reached a plea deal with prosecutors and pleaded guilty to the cocaine distribution charges.

The suspect has now been sentenced to a term of incarceration of nine years. He will become eligible for release on parole after serving 50 months behind bars.
