DocuSign Using Ethereum Blockchain
By John Simek
Blockchain technology is a great disrupter for many of our everyday tasks. Most know blockchain as the foundation of cryptocurrency, but blockchain can be used for verifying all sorts of transactions. According to a recent post, “DocuSign, a company that specializes in electronic signature technology, recently announced that it has integrated the Ethereum blockchain into a new digital transaction and management service.” Basically, DocuSign users will be able to verify evidence via a one-way cryptographic hash value. This means that signatures can be compared and verified to an original contract, file or document to be authentic. No more expert witnesses or testimony required.
