Pregnant Student Fights Suspension from Sports Team

A Title IX complaint filed against the Fort Worth, Texas school district reflects the difficulties school districts face in balancing the rights of pregnant students with the need to provide a safe educational program for all students. The student filed the complaint after allegedly being suspended from the girls’ volleyball team by the district.
