We recently learned that Greenberg Traurig came in at Nov. 5 on the Product Liability Law360 100 list. According to Law360’s website, the rankings are based on partner headcount data from 300 U.S.-based law firms, including 198 of the largest 200 firms in the country.
We have a large team of experienced attorneys across the country that work with complex products cases, hence our ranking, but why is the number important? Product liability disputes can grow into mass tort litigation with thousands of class members across the country, and as Law360 reported, the number of resources a firm has – from the number of partners to office locations – can be appealing for in-house attorneys, according to some experts.
Beyond headcount, however, our Products Liability & Mass Torts Practice attorneys have wide-ranging experience trying complex cases, including jury cases for issues as diverse as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, energy, toxic mold, and tobacco. So, while we have strength in numbers and wide-ranging experience, our approach is still practical and business-focused, something we think is just as appealing.
