This is the Society’s premier professional development workshop for those who work in many different areas of insurance regulations such as market regulation, consumer services, financial solvency, producer licensing, and enforcement and compliance areas.

On July 21, Karlinsky, member of the IRES Foundation Board, moderated the “Commissioners Roundtable” whereby insurance commissioners discussed some of the major issues facing their states and provided their departments’ perspectives on important insurance related matters. The insurance commissioner participants were: Director Ray Farmer of South Carolina, Commissioner Wayne Goodwin of North Carolina, Commissioner Sharon Clark of Kentucky, and Commissioner Stephen Robertson of Indiana.  Additional topics included recent national and international developments and their effects on the insurance industry.
