Zutic’s intellectual property practice encompasses trademark counseling, with an emphasis on the selection, adoption and use of trademarks, domestic and international trademark prosecution, and trademark portfolio management. He regularly counsels clients on a variety of intellectual property issues affecting their day-to-day business operations and transactions. Zutic also has deep experience in the areas of trademark protection, enforcement and infringement matters and provides litigation strategy at the federal court level. He also represents and defends clients in opposition and cancellation proceedings at the United States Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Zutic currently serves as the Washington, DC practice group leader for the First Year Associates practice, as well as chair of the Washington, DC Diversity & Inclusion Committee. He also leads the firm’s LGBTQ affinity group and is a member of the firm’s North American Pro Bono Committee.
Zutic was named a top trademark professional by WTR 1000: The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals 2018.
