Covid-19: Suspension of landlords’ termination rights in Germany

A new law in Germany means new rules for rental and lease agreements during the Covid-19 crisis.

The special rule which came into force on 1 April 2020 and that applies initially for a period of three months to all commercial and private rental and lease agreements, may have a significant economic impact for landlords in Germany.
