On 5 May 2025, representatives of the German parties CDU, CSU, and SPD signed the coalition agreement for the upcoming legislative period. From an employment law perspective, this agreement contains several propositions, some of which are very specific. Companies with employees in Germany should stay informed about the status of the proposed commitments as the legislation is presented.
