Representing licensed public insurance adjusters operating in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming, the Rocky Mountain Association of Public Insurance Adjusters celebrates its fifth year in 2018. In just two short weeks, RMAPIA is holding its annual Fall Meeting and Seminar on August 24th in Denver at the Hilton Garden Inn Cherry Creek.

The seminar includes six public adjusting continuing education credits in the RMAPIA states, and will include the following lineup of topics:

  • Assuring a Smooth and Fair Appraisal Process – Matthew Pearson, Esq., Gravely & Pearson
  • Ethics Issues for Public Adjusters – Case File Management for Your Client to Avoid Litigation – Lisa Greenberg, Esq., Gravely & Pearson
  • NAIC, Case Law and Regulatory Update – Gregory V. Serio, Esq., Park Strategies, LLC
  • Update on Civil Authority and Draft Language for Legislative Initiatives – Gregory V. Serio

I will be presenting along with Chip Merlin and Larry Bache on the topic of Delay and Denial of Payments – Remedies in the Mountain States. This will include a discussion of current trends, regulations, and remedies available to first-party policyholders within the RMAPIA states. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
