Responding to a charge from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) can often be a complex and opaque process, fraught with red tape. To alleviate this burden, we have developed a comprehensive roadmap to assist employers, in-house counsel and human resources professionals in managing EEOC charges from start to finish, while avoiding common pitfalls and mitigating potential risk exposure.

We invite you to join us on Wednesday, September 18 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. CT as we provide a step-by-step guide through the EEOC response process and share lessons learned from years of experience engaging with EEOC representatives.

Our presentation will cover:

  • The EEOC’s mediation program and effective strategies for participation.
  • Best practices for drafting settlement agreements.
  • Drafting effective position statements and responding to requests for information.
  • Preparing for onsite investigations and requests for witness interviews.
  • The consequences of a reasonable cause determination.
