Wage and hour compliance continues to evolve, with recent developments affecting overtime exemptions, independent contractor classifications, remote work, compensable time and payroll practices. Our September 24 webinar with Chris Gantt-Sorenson and Katie Busbee will examine key federal developments and recent enforcement activity with a focus on what they mean for South Carolina employers. Attendees will also receive practical information on common compliance risks and areas HR professionals should consider reviewing within their organizations.

At the conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Understand the current federal overtime exemption requirements and identify common classification risks
  • Evaluate wage and hour issues involving remote work, travel, meal periods, pre-shift activities and other compensable time
  • Recognize how bonuses, incentive compensation and new overtime reporting requirements can affect payroll calculations
  • Identify wage and hour practices that may warrant an internal compliance review

We invite you to submit any questions via registration or to Raven Guerra.
